Aguirre, OMG!
Yesterday I watched Werner Herzog’s awesome shot-on-a-shoestring masterpiece Aguirre, Wrath of God (Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes) sky plussed from about a week ago.
Thanks Sky+, thanks BBC Four, and thanks Werner for your genius and vision. This is the best film I have seen for ages and the perfect tonic for post Dark Knight doubt. Here’s a little taste if you haven’t seen it:

It may not have been Sky+’s intention, but the ability to record wonderful off-beam Herzog is definitely a better aspect than the ability to record an entire series of Six Degrees. Just hope they repeat it…
